Located on the Plateau de Millevaches, Saint-Yrieix-le-Déjalat is at the confluence of the rivers Corrèze and Dadalouze.
You can visit the church of the 12th century and the cross on the town hall square, classified as a Historical Monument. Not far from the village, the Montamar site was built at the end of the 13th or the beginning of the 14th century. This stronghold had the role of monitoring the valley road between Bonnefond and Saint-Augustin.
