Château de Ventadour- Moustier-VentadourNeighboring Egletons, Moustier-Ventadour is known for hosting the famous fortress of Ventadour, 12th century medieval fortress, whose ruins rise to overlook the gorges of the Soudeillette and Vigne.
Hiking trails departing from the Saint-Pierre Church allow you to take the hollow paths of the gorges and admire, in the distance, the castle of Ventadour. A short hike can also take you to the wreck of the German truck, a remnant of World War II.

Moustier église 2016 (5)Church Saint-Peter : rebuilt in 1494, it results of the rebuilding of a church of the 12th century from which remained the cornice and the columns of the triumphal arch. It is listed as a Historical Monument since 1972.
Fortress of Ventadour :built in the 10th century on a promontory, it was one of the most powerful of its time. Today, its imposing ruins are visitable during the summer.
Randonnées autour du Château :“Le Chemin de la Valade”, “Découverte de Ventadour”, “Le circuit de l’épave du camion allemand” or even “Le Chemin des Troubadours” can be done by hikers.
