WHAT TO SEE AND DO

Heritage tour : available at the tourist Office, this tour takes you to see the city’s historical heart’s points of interest.
The Middle Age Discovery Center : a dive into the world of the Middle Age, era that marked Egletons and its surroundings.
The Deiro Lake : labeled Blue Flag Beach, this lake is recognized for its measures taken to reduce the impact on the environment and its quality of the water. Many playful equipments are arranged so people can enjoy many activities (beach soccer, bathing, …)
The movie theater : a diversed programming, entertainment activities for everyone (adults and children) organized every week, the movie theater called “L’Esplanade” offers a varied choice of activities around the world of cinema.
Church Saint-Anthony the Hermit : church of the 12th century, only the bell tower remains as a testimony from this era. Restored in the 17th century, it sees its thatched roof replaced by shingles. Its stained glass windows were made in 1957 by the Blanchet and Lesage workshop. It is registered as a Historical Monument since 2001.
The Natura l’Oeil Festival : every year in June, the Natura l’Oeil Festival displays, in the street of Egletons, photographs (from amateurs and professionals) on the themes of nature and animals. Activities around photography and nature are also programmed in order to discover the natural environment of Egletons and its surroundings.
